  • On 27 February 2026, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) issued a scientific opinion on the safety and efficacy of L-isoleucine produced by fermentation using the non-genetically modified (non-GMO) strain Corynebacterium glutamicum CCTCC M 2022764 from Innobio (Innobio Europe B.V.) as a nutritional feed additive.It was concluded that L-valine produced by fermentation using Corynebacterium glutamicum CCTCC M 2022764 is safe and effective as a feed additive for all non-ruminant animal feed.
