Fish meal prices moved higher both domestically and internationally this week.

Peru’s ENFEN agency maintained an El Niño “Alert Status” along its coast. Sea surface temperatures off Peru’s coast continued to warm up, and strong concerns over an expected El Niño event pushed up local quotations.

In the domestic market, boosted by the Peruvian market, coupled with low port inventories and staged restocking by some feed enterprises, domestic fish meal prices extended their gains.
